Started in 2004. Formerly known as SKIT. Comprised of Arnie Jane Demano (V), Carl Justine Morales (G), D.M (B) and Val Caroche (D). The band started covering songs from the bands like: Kittie and Drowning Pool. In their existence, Carl Justine Morales (G) and D.M (B) has parted ways with the band due to their studies, but the two founding members; Arnie Jane Demano (V) and Val Caroche (D) had decided to continue the band and look for new guitarist and bassist. So Val Caroche (D) asked P.P (G) to play guitar for the band and P.P agreed, and he hooked up his cousin G.P (B) to play bass for the band, but unfortunately the band did not worked. After that year (2005), Val Caroche (D) decided to play guitars, and they met, L.O (D), J.O (G) and G.M (B), that they got to play with them, and changed their name to PAPERDOLL and recently changed into CHARLOTTE, at that time they got a tight new line-up, and after their existence G.M (B) left the band, due to personal problems with Val, and decided to get E.C (B) that who plays bass for Val’s motherband: Nocturnes (A Post-Hardcore / Screamo Band). They played on local gigs at Taguig City (ex. Battle of the Bands, Small Productions). In that year also, E.C (B) left the band due to his working schedules, and S.A (B) tooks E.C’s place for the band. Val Decided to change the band name into: VOICE OF TRANQUILITY (name that he ripped off from Gregorian’s album entitled: Voices of Tranquillity). And after getting that tight line-up, they played non-stop gigs / shows at some bar, clubs, out of town events, to list a few: Kolumn Bar (Timog), Harmony Bar (Ortigas), Center For Arts (Timog), Nightwish Bar (Malate), Vega J Cafe (Malate), CluVb (Makati), Maru Bar (Makati), Pacita Complex. While they’re being active on the scene, they decided to make their own compositions, to tell people that who really they are, and what they want to say... Enemy & Apocryphal are some of their original compositions created that has been played numerous times every gig and a cover (from their brother band: Almoranaz – A local underground metal act.) which entitled Anal Sacrifice and War Plague. Through their hardwork they gain respect and known at local underground scene. After two years of existence, J.O (G) left the band due to his personal problems with his brother (L.O). And replace by R.B (G). They continued playing numerous gigs and released a D.I.Y. live demo with one track: Anal Sacrifice. And bulshit happens... in 2008, R.B (G) and S.A (B) left the band. And the band continued playing without permanent members. In January of 2009, L.O (G) parted ways with the band. In that time, Arnie Jane Demano (V) and Val Caroche (D) doesn’t know if the band would still exist. After a couple of months, in March of 2009, Arnie and Val decided to look again for new members like what they did on day one, they got R.A (G) of Dechristianized – a talented / skilled guitar player and fresh from the grave / founding member: Carl Justine Morales (G) took again his place as a guitarist with full of surprisingly guitar talent / skilled that they never think of,. The band played again (without a bassist) for the long time of silence at Briiw Bar (Kamuning) alongside with bands; MortalFear, Almoranaz, Into Aggression, to list a few. With their new composition which made by R.A (G) entitled: Army of Hades (Old Version) and an Untitled Song). CJ (G) and Val (D) decided to get Miguel Fontiveros (B) to play bass for Voice Of Tranquility because of Miguel’s perfectly bass skills that’s fit in. Voice Of Tranquility got the most perfect band line-up (as peoples said) and the band’s really needed. R.A (G) parted ways with the band due to his personal reasons, and the band created new mind blowing songs: Army of Hades (New Version) and Warlord, which recorded at Earbender Recording Studio, recorded and mixed by Macoy Manuel of SIN / Death by Stereo. That has been decided to release those songs as an EP/DEMO. Which has been released in July 3 of 2009 and launch at Center For The Arts (Timog) and followed by radio guesting at RJ UNDERGROUND RADIO 105.9 FM (The Slaughterhouse – A Local Metal Radio Show hosted by Mr.SLH, Fin Santos, Jorge Nepomuceno). And after those happy times and shit times, as Carl Justine Morales (G) said: “ito ang lahat ng pinagpaguran natin”. They continued playing in numerous gigs to list a few: Lamb of God Album Listening Sessions (Wrath Album Launch) which been held at Cuerdas Bar (Pasig) alongside with Valley of Chrome, Badburn, Subculture and many more. Gods of Metal 6th Year Anniversary (Part 2) alongside with Resurrected, Badburn, Sanctus, Anhura and many more. As of now, Voice Of Tranquility is active at local underground scene, playing in numerous gigs, promoting their music and working for their full length album which will be released anytime soon.
